God is good all the time….
“God is the same yesterday and today and forever” – Hebrews 13:8
We have been seeking God as a family….
We have always been seeking God as a family….
My oldest two have a deeper desire right now…
They are seeking a relationship with Him….
The next level….
An intimate relationship…..
We did an exercise with some friends….
We were to give God a stress….
Give Him a lie we were believing….
Give Him a trouble we were facing….
Praying in faith….
That He will answer….
After we prayed quietly….
We sat in silence….
With our palms up….
Seeking a vision of what the burden looked like in our palms….
Asking God to take it….
Asking God to replace it….
If willing….
Sharing with others what the Lord said to us….
My two oldest and I were discussing it later…
My oldest teared up in the discussion….
My first thoughts….
Are you missing Mom……
With hesitation….
Yes was her response…..
But….
In our exercise….
I did not hear anything from God….
The tears flowing….
She does not have the intimacy she is seeking….
I asked her what stress or lie she gave him….
She said she did not give Him anything….
I asked why not….
He cannot take anything from you…
If you do not give it to Him….
He cannot upgrade you….
If you do not give Him what needs repaired…
We talked some more….
I asked some more questions….
She has some stress in her life….
But she did not identify it as significant….
I asked her if it was impacting how she acted or behaved…
Was it keeping her from being her…
The person God designed her to be….
Was it keeping her from shining for Him….
From being the best version of herself…
The person he designed her to be….
Was her stress or the lie impacting that at all….
He wants you to be exactly who He designed you to be….
That person will change the world….
For Jesus…
That person will shine the love of Jesus….
That person will be a blessing to all paths they cross…
That person will help others….
That person will discover His calling on their life….
That person will pursue that calling…
Pursue with no limits…
No fear….
No distractions….
Pursue with all that they have….
And that person will glorify God…
In ALL that they do…
So if what seems small….
May not be so small….
If it is changing your behavior….
In the slightest….
It is a big deal….
He has plans for us….
He wants to clear the path for us…
Give it to Him….
He cares for you….
We took a step back….
Started with the first step of the exercise….
Give….
She is thinking about what to give Him….
Praying on what to give Him….
Once she has clarity….
We will do the exercise again….
He will respond….
He is so good…..
He is so faithful….
He is love….
Just like eternity….
Just like a light year…
Just like a few other random things….
Things I struggle to comprehend…
Pure love is hard to comprehend….
Loving without limits….
Without caveats….
Unconditionally….
He is the only one who can provide it….
He si the only one who can do it….
Because He is it….
He is love….
Eternity…..
All I know….
It is a really really really long time….
And that is ok with me….
Perfect love….
All I know…
It is Jesus….
What does that mean….
I can trust in His word….
He will never let me down….
He will never forsake me….
I had a typo recently….
After I reread it….
It was not the words I intended to write….
But it was not a typo….
It was true….
In every way possible….
It was profoundly true….
I am so grateful it is true….
I am a peaceful wreck in this beautiful horrible experience…
Only because it is true….
Only because it is true….

I am so grateful for that….
I am so grateful for that truth….
I am so grateful for His work in my family….
I am so grateful for all the support He has sent us….
I am grateful for His love….
His Faithfulness….
His Goodness…
His hand in my life…..
His hand on my children….
His protection….
His grace….
His mercy….
His love….
….All the time God is good.
