God is good all the time…

The measure of faith….

God has given us….

He has supplied us with all the faith we need….

It is up to us….

Up to us to choose to use it….

Today we celebrate….

Today is one year….

Since she had her ultimate victory….

The punk thought he would ruin our year….

Ruin our life….

He was so wrong….

He is just shaking his head….

 I wish I would have left them alone….

That is what the punk is saying…..

He poked the wrong bear….

A few of the girls and I were talking last night….

Hannah remembering….

Looking down the hall….

Toward the bedroom….

Wondering how mom was feeling….

With tears….

We talked about it….

We talked about how those memories….

The memories of the hard times….

They are ok to have….

Ok to think on….

Just for a moment….

We have to move from there….

Move our thoughts….

Staying in her death….

Is not truly celebrating her life….

Her life on earth…

Or her life in heaven….

Staying in the pain….

It is not healthy…

We have to move forward….

Or we have to move backward….

Either direction is fine….

We move backward to the good memories….

The healthy memories….

Our favorite time with her….

Our favorite memory….

Hearing her contagious laughter….

Even remembering all the fun we had….

Making the most out of her time in bed….

Watching all her favorites….

Hallmark….

HG TV….

AFV….

Oh she would cry from laughter at AFV….

Finding new favorites…

Bringing up Bates….

Remembering the fun we had with her….

Turn the tears of sorrow…

The tears of pain….

Turn them into tears of joy….

Turn the tear of joy into laughter….

Once we have our joy back…

We turn to the present and celebrate…

Celebrate her victory…

We turn our tears of sorrow…

Into cheers of celebration….

It is a process…

One we must go through….

Living in her death….

Is not celebrating her life…

It is not celebrating His promises….

We talked about 2023….

The punk meant to ruin our year…

Our life….

But God….

He turned it around….

She got ultimate victory….

We got an intimate….

A beautiful…

Closer relationship with the Lord….

With each other….

I would never want to go back…

2023….

He turned into the best year of our lives….

Our talks continued….

We imagined….

Actually we know….

Her wish for us….

To keep living life….

To her honor her….

To glorify God….

We imagined her….

Nodding her head….

Yup….

This place is awesome….

I won…

That’s what she is saying….

I won….

The punk lost….

And better yet…

And I beat you all here…..

She was very competitive….

We all laughed….

Basking in His glory…

In His goodness…

In His light…..

Basking on the fact….

She beat us all there….

But looking forward to seeing us in our time….

And when she does….

She will remind us…

She beat us….

We have a tremendous peace about us….

Only a peace that could come from the Lord….

A peace that surpasses all understanding….

We are going to celebrate her today….

It is sweet…

To watch each of them wake up today….

Trickle downstairs…

Each remembering their mom…

In their own way…

Some purple in their clothes….

A little time working on a puzzle….

One of her favorite family activities…

We are going to celebrate…

We are going to honor….

Honor her….

And glorify Him….

We plan to hike her favorite trail….

Shop at Costco….

Just because we need to….

And she loved Costco….

Take a drive in the country…

Finish the day watching her favorite funny movie….

We have a peace about us….

A peace that surpasses all understanding…

It is beautiful….

We cast our cares on Him….

Because He cares for us….

His burden is easy….

His yoke is light….

He continues to wrap us in His arms…

To surround us with His favor like a shield…

He continues to comfort…

He continues to renew His mercies…

Every morning….

He continues to shower us with love….

Covering us in goodness…

Letting His joy….

Be our strength….

Pouring amazing people into our lives….

Friends….

Family….

New family….

I was convinced I would be single the rest of my life….

The Lord said otherwise….

He brought us a new relationship….

He brought us a new love….

Not one to replace….

But one to compliment…..

One to continue on….

To walk by our side….

A love filled with compassion…

He has given us a new chapter….

Not a chapter without their mom….

But a new chapter with her….

We are not living without her….

We are finding a new way of living with her…..

She is ever present….

In our thougths….

In our hearts….

In our minds….

In our new relationships….

We are just moving from victory to victory….

I cannot imagine walking this journey….

Without the Lord….

Without the love of Jesus….

Without the body of Christ….

Lifting us up….
