Hello to everyone. I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and fantastic New Year’s.
God is good all the time….
I apologize we have not been very active with updates. We have been very busy working on what our schedule is going to look like for the next 2 years.
My healed wife has been wrestling with healing reactions like nausea and vomiting for the last 2 weeks or so.
In total transparency….
That has prevented us from following the protocols, therapies, and supplements. But, God designed the amazing human body and one of our body’s defenses is to remove toxins in the stomach by throwing up. We have been torn on what to pray for regarding her stomach issues. Are they preventing the protocols or are they moving her forward by removing toxins? So we just pray that the enemy is cast out of our house and out of our minds and out of her body. He has no dominion or authority in our lives and we rebuke all of his evil ways. We then trust that the healing reaction is appropriate to what her body needs. We trust that if the feeling to throw up was the enemy stopping the healing protocols, it subsides. If it is God’s defenses, it will come on. We also give it completely to Him and pray the perfect will of God by praying in the Spirit over her nausea.
We are also using wisdom and keeping in contact with the medical team and will be doing some testing this week to confirm they are just healing reactions, to ensure there are no blockages, and rule out any other concerns.
In spite of all that, we had an amazing holiday. My healed wife got to go outside and sit in the sun for about an hour this past weekend. I took a picture but she refuses to allow me to share and being the obedient husband, I comply. Considering most of her activity is from the bed to the bathroom and back, this was an exciting deal and so good for her.
Her team of helpers (the kids, grandmother, and I) are taking good care of our patient. I am pretty sure she will be feeling well long before she ever tells us – haha (she is getting good treatment and may milk this for a bit.)
We have an amazing support group helping us feed the kids and we are so so grateful for the meal train. I am not sure how I would get the kids fed without these meals. Our entire day is making juices, meals, teas, cooking, administering therapies, and constant dishes – the kids favorite part – plus school and work. The good news is the kids are starting to ask for their own juices. Since I started typing this, Joseph has been in three times asking if we can go juice him some carrots and apples. He also wants to open our own juicing business.
Back to the meals and the blessings they are…. this is tonight’s (all the way from Lebanon) in three stages: before picture, when everyone thought they were done, and when everyone was REALLY done…. haha…
One last note… it weighs very heavy on me to not have personally thanked each individual that has made a difference in our lives during this journey. Please know EACH one of you is making a difference and I will get around to everyone eventually with personal gratitude. Please take this blanket “Thank You” personally until I can extend our thanks directly to you. We love you all!
….all the time God is good!!!
… and Joseph just came in for the 4th time … “Dad, let me know when you are ready….”
