God is good all the time…..

I have been overwhelmed lately….

I don’t know how to put it to words….

But I have been overwhelmed….

My plate seems full….

Full….

One thing I know….

My healed Wife worked really really hard…

Schooling….

Tutoring….

Transporting….

Supporting….

Raising world changers…..

Cooking….

Taking care of me….

She worked really really hard….

I thought I had it hard….

My world was hectic….

My world was busy….

My people problems were difficult….

I had it easy….

I made money….

She made a difference….

Let me say that again….

I made money….

She made a difference….

I had the easiest job….

She changed lives….

I lived pridefully committed….

Committed to my job….

Being the best husband….

The best dad….

That I could be….

After giving work….

The best of my time….

I gave what was left….

Of exhausted me….

To my healed wife….

To my children….

They deserved so much more….

When they did have my exhausted self….

They still did not have me….

I was not present….

My mind was on work….

Constantly….

My name was on the line….

Our finances were on the line….

I wanted to climb the ladder….

Those were my excuses….

There are no excuses…..

I was blinded by pride….

I had no idea….

All it took to raise our children…..

They are amazing….

Amazing….

Children….

I am so blessed…..

They are a reflection of her….

All the time….

All the effort….

All the love….

That she had poured into them….

They are walking through this season….

Strengthening their faith…..

They are inspiring…..

They are her…..

The enemy squeezed on her…..

The pain rose….

Her praise just got louder…..

Louder and louder…

Thank you Jesus…..

You are so faithful…..

Thank you Jesus…

You are so good….

Her faith grew….

Our faith grew….

When the enemy meant to end it…..

Stomp out her faith….

Stomp out our faith….

Once and for all….

It grew….

Through the tears…..

You are so good Lord…..

The enemy lost…..

She has ultimate victory…..

She has left behind….

A well prepared legacy….

A legacy that is going to change the world…..

He has never left us….

He has never forsaken us….

He is so good….

He is so faithful….

He has taken our faith….

Her last lesson to them….

Was her most powerful….

How to walk through persecution….

How to deflect the attack of the enemy….

How to be an overcomer…..

How to be more than a conqueror….

Through Christ…..

Her testimony….

Her legacy….

Will live on….

In her last few weeks….

Mostly unresponsive….

She whispered…..

Don’t stop living….

She taught us how…..

We need to never forget….

How she doubled down on her faith….

How she praised Him in the storm….

The enemy has no idea….

The storm he has created…..

In us….

For the Lord…..

If he had only known….

He would have left us alone….

I am overwhelmed…..

But not with trouble…..

Not with stress….

Not with worry…..

Not with busyness…..

Not with concern…..

Not with fear…..

I am overwhelmed with His blessings…..

With His presence….

With His faithfulness…..

His goodness…..

His mercy…..

His grace….

His love…..

I am overwhelmed with my children….

With the peace….

With the joy…..

With the faith….

They are walking out in this season….

I am overwhelmed with a full heart….

Feelings I never thought I could have again….

He has sent someone to come along beside me….

To walk with me….

One step at a time….

I am overwhelmed with joy….

Serving as a tutor…..

Influencing our youth for the Lord….

I am overwhelmed with honor….

Mentoring a couple soon to be married…..

Guiding their hearts in the Lord….

I am overwhelmed with gratitude….

To be part of a conference….

Influencing men….

In the Lord….

I am overwhelmed with humility…..

To be called by God…..

He has a specific calling….

To serve Him in a greater capacity….

To reach more people….

For the Lord….

He has plans for me…..

He has plans for a new us…..

All of us…..

He has been calling my name…..

I was not listening….

He has not stopped calling….

He has never given up on me….

I am finally listening…..

I am finally hearing His still soft voice…..

I am finally being still…..

So I can hear….

So I can step…..

Without hesitation…..

I am finally trusting….

Fully trusting….

I am overwhelmed with peace….

Peace that comes with full surrender…..

Surrender like never before…..

Full…..

Complete….

Surrender…..

I am overwhelmed with love…..

His love….

All the people He has sent…..

With their love….

With their support….

He has put special people in our lives…..

Some for a season….

Some hopefully for more….

I am overwhelmed with peace….

What should have been a horrible year….

A year that sounds like a horrible story on the surface…. 

When you spell it out…..

I am a 54 year old….

Bankrupt ….

Homeschooling….

Single bodied dad….

Unemployed….

Faithfully following the Lord….

Father of 5…..

When you spell it out….

It sounds horrible….

He has turned the horrible….

Jesus…..

Jesus has turned the horrible…..

To beautiful…..

He has turned this wreck…

Into peace….

A peace that surpasses all understanding…..

I am overwhelmed….

With Jesus…..
