God is good all the time…
This morning has been a peaceful wreck of a morning…
My girls are at beach camp and my oldest is struggling a little with heartache (boy related). I know the pain is magnified because of what we are walking through. Fortunately she has her sisters there and they are helping her through it. I wish I could give her a hug right now. It always helps her….
Had a few tearful memories of my healed wife….
I sent my healed wife a text to let her know I was thinking about her… because that is what I always do when we are apart….
Fighting off strife, complaining, grumbling, and an overall bad attitude about the pettiest of things ….
Refusing to go down any of those holes…
The joy of the Lord is my strength…
So spending extra time with the Lord in prayer and in His word and coming out of it…
Just as I am typing this He put in on my heart to not forget to praise Him….
Prayer, His Word, and praise have been such a powerful trifecta through this season for us….
He sent a messenger to help in His perfect timing…..
A friend I deeply respect and admire sent an encouraging note to let me know he was praying for me and thinking about me. His specific prayer was that God would meet my needs today – whatever they may be. He answered his own prayer by responding to Gods calling on his heart to send me an encouraging message. That is exactly what I needed at that exact moment. Every word of his message touched me and lifted me up….
My sister sent a reminder that God has us in his mighty right hand….
Another timely reminder…
God has us wrapped in His perfect love….
He will never leave us or forsake us….
…. All the time God is good.
